well last Friday the 31st i wrecked my pride and joy my probe gt i have so much time and money into this car and it was the first car i bought and payed for by myself this car has been in my lift for 4 years but i have only owned it since June i bought it off my cousin and started from there. well i rear ended a tractor trailer and i scratched on of the reflector stickers on the trailer and totaled my car.

no the moneys into all the suspension and all new parts on the front end and i swapped body parts. i have over a grand into parts for the front end and rear. i took my system out that was destroyed thank god. it handled like a dream



well he was turning into a truck stop and its a super busy area and the way the sun was on his tail lights i couldnt tell what was going on with him and i relized i was coming up on him fast got on the breaks and locked them just b4 i hit him and i hit him doing like 30- 35

Sorry to see, I don't mind those cars at all. Be glad you're okay, had the bumper bar not been there you could have gone right underneath. Like said, time to start over and better this time.

was this by iron skillet? btw you didnt just scrap the reflection tape, that beam on the bottom is slightly bent, and you hada do atleast 40. I say keep it and rebuild. What'd you have done to the suspension? Looks like stock height to me, or possibly eibach springs/

 

I had a '93 gt 5psd for like 2-3 years, but I had to sell it when I got my truck. I loved that car, amazingly under-rated and a blast to drive.

Find me another one while you're at it.

I love my car

i like my truck my truck is fun for short trips not to run back and forth to school i was getting 32 mpg in that car and i get 18 or so in my truck i miss my car



there are tons of them out there im trying to find one or decide if i want to fix it

I'll bet he's writing you a thanking you letter for making him go for a pee in a cup, and prolly buying you a hallmark card for the fight he had with his safety manager.

Oh well next time you'll pay more attention. You're lucky his D.O.T. bar was so low, most are much higher and you would of slide a lot farther under the truck and could of been hurt real bad.

 

Save yourself the trouble of the structural damage repair and all the little details and start with a new car. Maybe something with damaged parts you don't need, then just swap over the good parts. If you enjoy the car that much don't give up on it.

Did the air-bags deploy? It doesn't appear so.
