Lowered My Truck

I've been contemplating lowering my truck for awhile, this morning I decided to go for it. The truck rides much smoother, turn-in is much quicker it handles flatter, overall I'm happy with it. I'm going to drive it like this for a week before I make any more adjustments, I'm toying with dropping the front another 1/4-1/2".

After:

The blocks in the rear are flipped--2.5" drop, the torsion bolts are backed off in the front--1.25" drop.

I had pics of the other side, one turned out like garbage so I didn't post it up.

Looks good. There's a guy around the area here that has a supercharged lowered 4x4 F-150. It handles great and he drives it year round in the snow.

I have a feeling there would be more if they didn't have tbars. I really want a newer sport trac awd/4wd to lower and be able to drive year around when we have any snow. Especially like this last winter lol.

One member has a yellow 06+ sport 4x4 with fender flare delete that's lowered. I'm not sure if he used 08+ keys or something. It looks awesome. Yours looks to be at 08+ height.

I'm now contemplating how to cleanly eliminate the fender flares. I think ground clearance with the rear mud flaps could be an issue in the rear once it's loaded.
