lift is done!

YUUPPPPPPPPPP pretty much finished the lift today, just waiting on my brake lines and alignment. Started the lift yesterday around 5pm finish today around 12. took about 10 hours, had to drill out the stock rivits holding the radius arm brackets and the axle bracket on the cross member.... Now time for tires I'm thinkin 35's just to have some get up and go......

what gears do you guys think would work well with 35's? i have a 2.9 v-6

god i love that body style, how much lift is that??? i actually just stumbled upon an 88 for super cheap and now seeing this makes me want to go snag it up......

Very nice! i really like the gen 1 Rangers.

And it definately needs 35"s! I would say 4.56 or 4.88 if you go with 35's

those I beams need some drop brackets

they are never going to get that aligned!!!

but looks sweet def get 35s and some drop brackets

they do have drop brackets..... I'm running 8" in the front 6 in the rear so its level.

I see what made you said that... the last pic is before the lift, I put the steering stabilizer on before i started tearing it apart

the truck looks great 35's would make it look sick. I kinda want a ranger like that now too.

4.56 minimum 4.88 better or even 5.13 for some real real good power if you dont mind topping at 70mph
