Minitruckin Magazine Feature
Abe Lincoln made the cut. This is a 1997 Ford Ranger. I have been working on Ford Rangers for 18 years. I finally achieved my goal. Own a minitruck worthy enough for Minitruckin Mag. The thing is Abe has been in the shop for three months getting even more mods done. Alot of you guys may remember my 1999 on 20s. I had several build threads on that truck. I sold it and I do miss that truck a lot. I know this forum is more 4x4 but I like this place. Alot of good people that know whats up with these Ford Rangers. We all have a passion for these little trucks. Thanks for the support over the years.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Cheers!

Thanks everyone! You guys rock.
Alex, I am not sure when you saw it last. So as of the last two months it been getting road worthy. I want to drive the wheels off it. Here are some new mods. Rebuilt complete motor, 305 bored 30 over with mild street cam. Trans swap put in a 700r. Painted motor and trans 2013 Lincoln Red. Painted engine bay gray. Rewiring alot of the truck for reliability. Reskinning the aviator portion of the hood.
I plan on re-doing Abe in 2015. A complete back half, sheetmetal bed, color change, Intro 22''billets, and fancy interior. I will show a rendering later on. Its not finished yet.

Morris that would be sick. That would be nice, expensive yes but real nice. The main reason is this truck was built on a budget. The Chevy was used because of the front clip is off a Chevy. And that was the motor donated for the build. One cool thing is notice the camber is gone.
Thanks Twistid, you will see it at a show one day.
