I dunno what happened to this MAF, looks like someone took a cutoff wheel to it, gouges and some hefty nicks on the ends...smoothed
them out. So now looking for a 19 lb sample tube.

 

Are you finally putting on a LX front bumper? Haha looks like we'll be reassembling our motors at the same time.

 

I actually have the bumper cover, and the fender extensions already, but they are grey, as much as I want to shoot it black (rattle can) and install it, it would just be more work that I would have to pay for, when it comes time for the car to go to the paint shop. Trust me it's eating me alive staring at it in my garage, just sitting there. I'm really hoping that I can find one ALREADY black, install it, and then flip the grey one to make my money back.

 

Sell me those fender extensions! Haha I picked up a set of LX bumpers for $40 but it didn't come with the extensions and the front bumper has a chunk missing out of it.

FINALLY fixed the one thing that all fox owner's hate. The POS ashtray. Mine has been broken since I got it. Such a simple fix, but you forget about it
until you get in the car and hear the damn ashtray door rattle. Drive me bat **** crazy. Anyway, got the ashtray fix it kit:

The design for this door is the biggest POS.....I just removed mine all together

I hope so....should have it finished up today, gotta jack the motor up and slip the longtubes in, and then prime/oil everything, put the lower intake on, check Piston to valve clearance, and then just reassemble everything....fuel/accessories. Then it'll be tire smashing time...

 

Sounds like my day haha I just have to install the lower intake then I'm done.

 

Started up again this morning (may not be in complete sequence):

Long Tube install. Which sucked, steering shaft hits the aft tube, had to massage it quite a bit. :( Ended up being a 3 a.m task

No sir...I cannot stand those cover's. The ones i have are OEM 93 cobra cover's that aren't made anymore, and I wanted to keep it simple, with some class. :)

 

Very nice... love the look of that intake and those valve covers. Still waiting for some videos!
