I almost ended the weekend like this.

lost control on the freeway, missed the gaurd rail and put her in the ditch. If you notice the lack of tire marks in the snow by the left tires, that's because both the truck and the trailer we were leaning. I almost flipped it, I was convinced it was gonna go over, that second when it was in the air seemed like a day, got her back on all 6 tires. I had to get winched out. All was good and we finished the 100 mile trip home, only took us 5 hours.

Measuring from your tire there's like...6 inches of snow tops. You need to stop having girls measuring your snow depth. 6 inches looks like a foot to them.

I read reports that said over a foot, but it sure doesn't look like it there.

Same stupid thing happens here though, people report to the NWS that there is like 6" or more, some even send pictures with a ruler stuck to the ground. But most of them are in snow "drifts" if you want to call 6" a drift. I walk out to the flat open field behind my house and measure something like 2" normally, and half of it is floating on top of the grass. lol

You were lucky for sure! The trailer didn't swing around and hit the truck or anything?

Luckly it didnt, everything stayed nice and straight. For going into the ditch I cant think of anyway that it could have gone better. No damage and no injuries.

The wrecker was an awesome guy too. Only cost me $40 in cash, pretty sure he pocketed it. When I pulled out my clevis and put it in the front hitch he was amazed.

Not too much, 6 inches maybe. Our temp is fluctuating 40 degrees to 0 degrees so we get a lot of snow that melts pretty quickly....

But previous winters we've set world records....let me see if i can find a pic

This is in June...

40 is a great deal. Buddy of mine drove his Acura TL off the road a few months back, on his way from Denver to L.A. Long story short, there was an accident on the road there already, which is why he had to avoid the accident and drive off into the shoulder. Tow trucks were already on the scene, but the ******* still had to charge him 175 to pull him out.
