i will agree, total grandpa truck. well i still live with my parents and my dad doesnt want me to take it off as it will take up space and he thinks its cool. he wants me to overhaul it so the windows dont leak, and im like, you do it, im the one that hates it. idk what to do

Find some cheap used yakima or thule racks on craigslist and throw them on there, and build a cheap hoist to pick it up.
That way just run it when you go camping. I love the functionality of a cap, but only use them if they are matched well like mine. Having said that, I still like the look of the truck better with it off.
The functionality outweighs the look in my case.
