Might as well give an update on the truck.

Well, it's been a while since I posted pictures of the truck. I took a couple of things off because, well, they broke to tell the truth :)

Here is the newest picture of it:

I took off the lights on the bumper, but I hadn't planned on it. I was just tightening the brackets, and the right light popped off and hit the garage floor and broke wide open. I also took the bug deflector off as it got a crack from a rock after following a semi on a back road. Besides, it wasn't even for a Ranger anyway.

I'm hoping I get a check tomorrow, because I really want my Ranger back. I like my Dodge, but I haven't been able to drive the Ranger because the PS pump went out, and is making one HELL of a noise. I've put 46 miles on the thing in about a month. :(

Anyway, here are a couple of others from the last wheeling trip in her. I went by myself, so I didn't get too crazy. Just a donut and a little bit of a hill climb. That trail sucks in the rain without two wheel drive and nobody to pull you out if you get stuck, so I stayed out of the mouth of it. Oh yeah, I still haven't fixed the four wheel drive :)

Thanks. I actually just found the clear corners I had gotten for it a while ago. I may have to put them in and polish the old head lights just to say "Yeah, I actually have an update on the truck!"

Truck looks good. I don't think the lift kits for the Gen II's are all that expensive, I know the kit for my 2wd is less than 450

Yeah, it's still more then I got right now :)

I'm thinking of just doing a suspension lift, as I really only want to run 31's, and I'm pretty sure I can fit them without a lift. But, we all know that we plan small and end up going big.

I thought of doing that, but the belt goes to everything else too. It'll get fixed soon, though.

Eventually. Not sure how much yet, still just in planning mode. I wanna finish up all the mechanical issues, and some of the aesthetics as well.

I had a guy over on RPS do some photo chops of my truck in different colors. I've been messing with the idea of repainting it in my head for quite a while now. Still not sure if I am going to.

I'll post up those pictures:

Not sure if I am ready for that step yet, though.

how about black with dark shadow gray at the bottom?

your going to need around 4" of lift to fit 31's on a gen2.

Thanks for the info, and the paint suggestion. Like I said, so far, everything is a price game for me with the truck. It's a slow build, but I'm going to finish it. Unless, for some awesome reason, Ford brings the World Ranger to the US. Then I'll have to figure out a way to keep this and have one of those :)
