Lights, camera, no action!

Got some 06 corners put on, thanks Sniper, and finally got all my lights wired up correctly so they work off the foglight switch. All that's left to do is the foglight mod and bam!!

No longer useless.

No fender yet. Haven't had a chance to get to Charlotte to pick one up yet.

I going back through some threads now to make sure I get the right relay.

Found the right relay and it works great.

Only problem I had was ripping half my fingernail off getting that damn relay out.

Works on 2001~2003 Rangers with factory foglamps, possibly others.
Does not work on 2004+ Ranger.

I would just bend that one shown.

On a side note, they stopped working. I went out to aim the lights and take some night pics then the lights shut off after being on a couple minutes.

Not really sure what happened. The fuse still looks good, but it was really hot when I pulled it out, it's a 25A fuse.

Not sure how to check relays to see if they're good. The hella relay is 40A, but I'm not sure what the stock one is. I'm thinking it might be the problem, but I have no clue.

This is how I wired them using the hella wiring kit, 18 gauge wire, and a 25A fuse.

Any suggestions?

Not here.

I've tried reworking somethings and still get nothing but some clicking.

Anybody know where to get a higher rated foglight relay?

Glad to see you found some corners that you like.

I'm not much of a help for the relay, but you can always wire up the fog light button directly to your hella relay for the lights. With a volt meter in hand, I imagine it wouldn't be too dificult at all - just remove the bezel, figure out which wire from the switch controls the Ford relay, cut that wire and run a new wire from there to the Hella relay.

I think the 06 corners look so much better than clear corners, so I am glad to see you put em on your truck. Sence you posted the pictures for the fog light mod and I am just sitting here i'm on my way outside to do it.

For the relay head to radio shack and see what they have.
