Oh LOL, that reminds me of my friends Nissan 4banger.

It will be as tall as the Mazda some day, but I will stay dominate it in a race or .. good looks.

you want 700lbs hypercoils this time, not 750.

I know, wrong year.....though 2wd it is coil sprung, or so I think my 2wd 93 was.

It's really not that bad. I had a 97 single cab that looked like that. I loved that truck because it was my 1st vehicle -- though used with only 11,000 miles. Wish I would have had the luxory of having 205,000 miles -- I still would have it.

What are your plans for it? You gonna ditch the snaps on the bed? Looks like a good little truck to work with.

rough plans include a 3/4 drop, some wheels, a stepside bed, a turbo, and other small things along the way...

started cleanin it up today; unusedcarified it, performed a deflapification, and swapped in a set of 98 tails

unusedcarification - disposal of PO's crap, sticker removal, searching for loose change, general exterior cleaning, serious interior cleaning sometimes requiring disassembly and removal of seats/carpet.

Man gumby to fit that spare Mud Tire you are going to have to do some serious fender hacking. Might want to invest in a battery powered sawzall if you don't already have one.

That's a classic. The 93 was the year of the major overhaul in design which lead to the current bodystyles of today. I had a 94 and at the time it was the best looking mini-truck you could buy.
