ok guys here is the build pics of my ranger so far

what I started with 2 years ago

92 Extended cab 2.3l 5 speed

Never liked the 60/40 split modded seats and added explorer center console

made my own push button start

Made some custom wooden arm rests

I then found a 94 4.0l V-6 as a parts truck that i was gonna pull the engine on but then decided to pull the 92 parts and build up the 94 instead

Came with a fiberglass cowl scoop hood

And euro style tail lights

lifted the rear 1 1/2 inches at the wheel wells when I added a leaf from the 92


Got a set of 18" BIGG Wheels and 265/45zr18s Nexen N3000 from craigslist
(Still need to get taller sidewalls on the rear)

Added some 2"X3" driving lights behind the grill

Got a set of 06' bed rails

Explorer OHC and rear dome light added


torn down and sanded ready to start paint

Self etching primer sprayed and dry


first coat of paint applied

Painted hood with center cowl fade



Painted black trims and reassembled so I can drive to work

Still got alot of work to do but this is where I am at so far. what do you guys think?

 

looks really good man, alot of subtle changes to make the truck look completely different. needs lowered a touch

 

Looks good... other than the wheels.

Put a built 302 in the bay and some slicks out back, along with skinny front drag tires... then it'd be perfect, IMO...
