Icon14 Fog pictures and a question

Went through a super thick wall of fog tonight. Had to go <10mph in a 60 zone because it was so bad. By the time there was a safe place to pull over for a quick pic... it was out of the dense stuff.

Also had a question about my airbags. My friend mentioned that since I got my new bumper put on, would my airbags still go off in a crash? where are the sensors at?

the sensors are the little boxes near/behind the lights but i dont know if they will or not... hard to say it all depends if they need to have impact on them or just a hard jolt to trigger

the airbag will still work, but its going to take a considerably harder impact to activate them now that you have a decent bumper. This can be both good and bad I guess..

Airbags deploy based on G-force. If there is a sudden change in speed (like hitting a brick wall) that will cause the airbags to activte. So if you have a stronger bumper mounted to the frame, the airbages could potentialy deploy earlier. If the factory bumper bends and buckles, that absorbs energy resulting in less g-force felt (up to a point). If the new stronger bumper doesn't, then the airbags will sense an impact at lower speeds.
