Removed the SL 3" block - Total lift now 7" at the rear :)

Installed: 4" Skyjacker Leafsprings

Hey, well, I've been telling myself I would do it for a while, and finally I got around to doin it, I parted with more pretend money that I don't have to get the 4" skyjacker leafs at the same time as the driveshaft. So, with the shackles, leaf springs, and the 1" block still on the axle, I'm now up to about 7" of lift total in the rear, and maybe 5-1/2" up front with the prekey mod and superlift crap... so to you lucky pre -08 guys, it's more like a standard 4" lift lol :( anyways, onto a few pics.

100_0342.jpg?t=1255047714
100_0346.jpg?t=1255047677

Now, when some people see this next pic, they make think "exhaust rattle, what a pain in the ***" or, "that must suck"... I like to think the glass is half full... I look at that pic, and hear the rattle and I think: "Hmmmm, excuse to think about a custom catback exhaust soon??" :)

I did. lol. There was an announcement asking for people to either shrink them or make them fit the new avatar specs...gave members some time to change them.

I love looking at your truck!!!! Custom exhaust sounds good. what are you thinking?

And how much lift do you gain out of the belltech 6400's? is it 2" or 1.5"

Looks good.. but the rear tire is sitting mighty close to the front part of the fender... the front needs to come up some more! As for the exhaust, why don't you just chop it off after the muffler...or right after it curves back down over the axle...

Ya the leaf springs brought it forward a bit.

Not sure what I'm thinkin of, nothin special... subtle, not flashly, some noise, nothin extreme. And when I did my shackles it seemed like they added 2" minimum, maybe 2.25.

Don't ruin my fun by giving me cheap alternatives! lol.. ya I suppose I could cut it a couple inches back or something... or Take it off at the flange back after the cat and just run straight pipe .

Thanks everyone for the great compliments on my truck by the way, glad to know my trucks look is appreciated by other people than me :)

Looks Awesome!!! I love suspension lifts w/o a body lift, truck is nice and high and no frame sticking out underneath.

Couldn't tell ya? Is that a strength rating for them?? If so, I'd assume mine were the lower of the two lol... But seriously I'm not sure

My reg cab has C's I just went and looked.. thats why it rides so damn harsh in the rear end because it's too light to make use of the springs and it just hops around, when i have some weight back there it rides sooo much better.. I guess thats why!! I should get some K's for better ride quality.
