New Work Truck! (big rig content)
Not Ranger content, wasn't sure where to put this.
05' 9900i, ISX/13-spd (would have preferred a T800, but I'm not the one paying for the truck lol):
Some randoms of a few Pete's also in the lot:
(not centered, sorry!)

Thanks guys!
Thanks! Some are extremely nice, the last company I drove for had a show/race truck. Black and chrome 379 with a hard-wood floor, chrome/black gauges and red on black leather interior with nicer electronics than I have at home. Helped it had 1600hp too!
Navistar is a good company, they make some very nice products in all truck markets! These 9900's, 389/379 and W900's are very popular trucks here.
I hope so, never driven one of these 9900's before, nor used an ISX powered truck for any extended periods of time. I wish it had an N14, or maybe a C-15 like my old truck, but for as little as we haul, the cost of the C15 isn't worth it.
Thanks Laz! Actually just for use on the farm, hauling out and picking up grain/fertilizer. My last job was hauling within SK, and the odd trip out of province or to the US.
Hah, no idea! We haven't taken ownership of it yet, so I was just sneaking some peaks at it in the lot before they take it in to clean it up and check it out.
Thanks again for looking guys, will get some better pictures of it when we pick it up.

Depends quite a bit on what trans, and also gearing. Running bobtail or empty usually start in 2nd or 3rd and run through every 2nd gear, or just avoid splitting gears. Each person has their own preference. Plus the large engines like these are most efficient below 1800RPM, so a couple extra shifts to keep the engine in it's efficient range (or governed if with a ***** of a company), even when empty, is sometimes worth it to same a bit of fuel if in traffic.

Brought the new truck home. Feels good and all. Rides like a Cadillac, has a radio and the gauges actually work! Fantastic!
Few pictures:
Webasto system! Yeeee-haaaaww! Engine and sleeper system, ecstatic about that:
Start hauling grain again Monday . . . hope I get back into a 13-spd pretty quick!

Day-cab Lonestar straight-piped fuel truck . . . as much as I hate them this thing is B.A:
International something or other mil-trucks:

Awesome truck man! I started working for a Propane company and have been driving crappy Freighliner FL70's. A buddy of mine his teaching me how to drive one identical to this one:
Just black instead of red. You ever ride in that one? Does the hood sound like a flock of robins is stuck in the cab? My buddies truck is annoying as HELL!
I only have my B-class right now, but I'll be getting my A some time this summer. I'm sick of construction, and my buddy works for a pretty good company out of Milk River that's been hiring us Montana boys like crazy.
