haha someone asked me if i could use it on their truck (f150, not even the same kind of truck lol) already and i had to explain that it doesn't work that way. it would be sweet though if it did.
This ones already got tunes on it from another ranger same engine and year as mine and has tunes on it but idk if it will work

pretty sure it won't work, i have the same thing for my truck, once i got it, i had to plug it in, and read a certain code off of it, and give my vin and stuff, so it was programmed to my truck, and wouldn't work on anyone elses.

did you buy that on here? or local? either way your going to have to get it re tuned to your truck, and i wouldn't trust whats on there because you don't really know.

just on the way home i was thinking about changing my tune from the 87 to 92. weird that you had a thread up.

I got it from ramgermaster. i drove to get it from him, he has the same year same motor. Its just weird that it has the tunes still on it. It is unmarried so i guess i just need tunes from Rouge at this point. who did you have to give your vin to? or did u just have to plug it into your truck for that step?

Find out the 4 digit code on the front of his PCM and compare it to yours. Provided both vehicles have an identical drivetrain and PCM code, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

i did my tunes from henson performance, i plugged it in and it came up with a certain code for my truck, but i'm pretty sure he also needed my vin so its just for my truck.

check out my project thread in a few minutes.
