New grille

Picked this grille up off Kijiji on the weekend. I'm going to paint the shell black but I'm undecided on whether to leave the bars the way they are or do them black as well! I'm leaning towards black, but what do you all think?

I thought about that, but I don't think it'd look right without doing some of the hood as well and then that may be too much!

There's no such thing as too much DSG!!!! Jk. You could always do the shell DSG and the inset part of the hood DSG, plus the grille itself black.

EDIT: Like this on the hood.

The shell - the same color as the truck and the bars - semi gloss black.
If the bars are metal use an etching primer on them after scuffing them up with a rough scotchbrite and if they are plastic, use DuPont Adhesion Promoter, then paint in both cases with a good quality Duplicolor paint.

That's pretty much exactly what I was planning on. I may go the DSG/black route later but for now I can basically paint it all up for free with what I have here already so I may as well see how it looks first!

I'd leave the bars as is. IMO you need something to set of the nomads.

Either way, it's a nice find !!

Great looking Truck

Kijiji to us is like what Craigslist is to you! There is Craigslist here as well but it's nowhere near as big as Kijiji.
