Herculiner

I think it came out great. Did the bed, rails, flares, and valence. This stuff is pretty goopy and thick and it covers pretty well, I still have yet to bolt back in the stuff in the bed, but it looks amazing. I took my sweet time prepping and taping off...I must say thumbs up. What really sold me on this was I saw my co-workers truck and he did it a year ago...it still looked very good. I was only worried about the longevity.

Anyway...pics will do the talking.

Not bad, I hope you didnt put it on thick or it'll crack. Also it may fade in front of your eyes. Looks good though.

make sure you get the UV protectant or it will fade. I have had mine for a year and a half and it is all faded, I didnt use the UV protectant. When I recoat I will put it on then. I I missed a couple spots. Its not really faded exactly more like just not shiny.

Looks good Ricky, you ever use that other stuff I gave you? I'm curious about the texture of it versus the Herc. How long did it take you?

Mine took a gallon, At the time it was $100, now it is around $80. The rest of the supplies cost me around $25. Minie has held up great. I dont really use my bed for much more then hauling camping supplies. I just got sick of looking at all the scratches.

I havn't had any problems with mine. I live in Minneapolis and we get 115* to -20*. When you prep like this its never gonna come off:

looks really good, but for $300 you can get it professionally done which comes with a lifetime warranty. guess if your bed only sees light use you dont need it, but mine is 5 years old now and i have had it redone a few times at no cost.

It would be nice if it was only $300. I was quoted by rhino for $475 under the rail and $575 for over the rail. Line-X was $500 over the rail and no discount for under the rail.

If you prep correctly you wont have problems with peeling. I took the scowering pad that came in the kit and threw it way, and bought myself a wire wheel for the drill.

you have to shop around at multiple stores my GF dad has had 4 Rhino jobs done 2 on his S10's and 1 chevy 1500 8ft bed and one F-150 6ft bed

he paid just over $350 for the over rails on the s10's and $450 for his chevy and $400 for his f-150 non rails...
