my gas sipper

i picked this up about 6 months ago, got a smoking deal on it, i've had to put some money into her to get her road ready, but now that summers here, i can finally enjoy her


and i do say gas sipper because she does average about 32.5MPG

few stats on the car:
1990 corvette roadster
repairs on it:
new U joints in the drive line, and axles
new wheels, and tires
4 wheel alignment
new flowmaster exhaust
repaired the mechanics in the seats
and got rid of the harley decals on the back of it

mods:
new pioneer am/fm/cd/MP3/iPod connected deck
eclipse speakers

future repairs:
new iggee seatcovers(on order)
rear bumper cracks filled, and repainted

Nice! I am not much of a vette person but I can appreciate it. I think the Tune port engines are the best looking engines GM made. They just look kickass under a hood.

Not a bad looking car, but having an auto trans. would drive me nuts!

hummm.. I have a hard time getting that even with half the cylinders as you!

I'm really not too fond of that body style, but it looks good for a 1990!

yeah, they are a little worse for wear, the previous owner didn't really take good care of it, and never put anything on them, but i have new covers on order, and expect them in the next week or so, but this is what i'm putting on them, they are iggee seat covers specially made for the sport seats

yeah, i think the TPI was one of their better setups, a hell of alot better then the crossfire injection, or even with the LT1's have their problems with the opti-spark setups

it does drive me nuts, but i wanted a roadster, and a 6 speed... there was a few 6 speeds on craigslist, but none of them were roadsters, so you can guess the winner on that... i sure as hell wasn't going back to a coupe

Your decimal is in the wrong place.. you meant 3.25 mpg lol...

hey trevor i kid you not, i made a trip back from sisters last week, and averaged 33 MPG


its ok shane, its the reason i'm not spending as much on the ranger...LOL...
