Little Black Ranger

I've had this truck for just over 2 years now, and i absolutely love it. Wish i would of got an extended cab...with a 4.0...but then again i love how my reg cab looks, and the 2.3 keeps money in my pocket at the gas pumps. No real need for the 4.0..i'd just get more tickets. I've actually worked the truck (i do stonework) and it's handled it no problem...loaded the bed up til i was almost draggin ***...the manual tranny handled her no prob.

Anyways..i plan on lifting it 3" and keeping my 31's..i happen to like thats look. i also want to get some 06+ fx4 flares on the truck...some rims with an offset to make the wheels peak out the wells a bit.

here's how she started, and how it looks now..not too much done to it...more interior mods than anything

did the speedo red too..pics dont do it justice, its very bright..will get better pictures if wanted:

did the OHC mod as well...gutted the ohc and added switches for my aftermarket fogs...some more interior lights...and i have one empty spot im reserving for heated seats..or maybe some offroad lights? dont know yet

added some aftermarket fogs too..i hate them tho..they dont fit perfect, im gonna switch them out for some stockers once i find some, atleast all the wiring is done for em

its either lower it on cobras or lift it on 33s...

i wanna lift it on 31's (partially cuz the 2.3 wont turn 33s well) but i actually like that up in the air with some good meats on it...dont see many reg cabs with the flares either...and im gonna try to stay away from the typical rims as well..wish i could find some nerf bars for my reg cab too

nice to see another black reg cab. Mines an edge with the factory lift and 31's.

Looks great! I love the standard cab black trucks.
Here's mine, which is pretty well stock on the outside, and hardly stock on the inside.
5.0L V8, OHC, Expo bucket seats, custom gauges, lighting, etc. etc. etc.
Oh and the wheels are black now too.

to get the red gauges i simply took out the cluster, removed the needles and took off the overlay. I sanded the green tint off on the back of the overlay, and used red lense tape (the kind that you buy if u have a broken taillight) and put it over the areas where light shines thru. to test how red the light shined thru, i went into a dark room preferably pitch black, and shined a light behind the gauges, then re-installed. will get some pictures for you tonight when its darker and post em up

How many layer of the Red Tape did you use ?

Is the Tape sticky all over ?

Pics would be nice.

Thanks
