NEW TRUCK- real one this time

Well as the title says i bought a new truck today. It's a 1986 Ford Ranger Carb'd 2.0 4cyl. with a manual transmission. Needs a bit of work, but I hope to have it up and running in no time. Right now it's not getting spark so I bought some parts tonight and I will start working on it this weekend. I will bring it home on Friday. I need new tires and it needs a real good cleaning. It's been sitting for a few years, but my friend had it running about a month ago. Enough of the babel, on with the pics!

Plans are:
Clean it really really good
Get it running
Get tires
Paint roof
Flip shackles
Drive it

I really want to go back to school and this will be my dd. My commute will be over 40 miles. It'll get better mileage and handle the very windy mountain I will have to drive a lit better. My truck has over 110k on it already and I don't need it getting really worn out by driving the mountain twice a day.

You and me both. It's killing me not having it at the house yet and having parts to install already. I'm really itching to get it washed too! I know what I'll be doing all weekend.
