FINALLY pics of the new wheels and tires
Finally got my camera up and running so here is some good pictures of the tires. They are 31 Mastercraft ATs on Eagle Alloys. 086s I believe. Don't quote me on that though. 2 inch lift Expo leafs out back and the front is stock. I do have 3 inch lift spindles ready to go on though, even though I have plenty of up-travel in the front as is LOL (see pic for reference). No rubbing at all which is a definite plus. Don't mind the extreme rake, that would be the Expo leafs and my laziness to install lift spindles at work.
On an unfortunate note I discovered today that my FX4 Level II axle has a bent axle shaft flange on the passenger side courtesy of the previous owner so my passenger rear wheel has a back and forth wobble when I drive. It is about 1 inch of wobble. Sucks hard considering I bought the axle as an upgrade and it cost me $350 plus fluid and new brakes as well as a weekend of hard work swapping it in. Yeah well good luck to me finding a replacement shaft. /end sob story, enjoy pics

I really want to fix that like, yesterday, but honestly where am I going to find an axle shaft from a Level II 8.8. It's like a needle in a hay stack.
Get a bigger monitor. 17 inch FTW
Haha it cracks me up every time I read it. I will eventually get tired of it and find another quote(s) to use.
Yeah I needed an A/T though. I don't mud and she's a mall crawler. In a perfect world I would have Duratracs but A. Not on my wages B. That's as aggressive as I would go.
Yeah next time you see pictures of the truck it will be leveled out. The rake is also killing my braking right now on top of 31s with my pre-01 10 inch rotors, all the weight and angle to the front means that I have that much more momentum forward.
Yeah that was thanks to a little run in with a Ford Fusion. The whole front end it from certifit except the header panel and the headlights which are factory and the clear corners from ebay. If I would have know at the time that all 98+ Rangers are compatible I would have got a 01-03 bumper but I rebuilt it right when I joined the forums and didn't know I could do that haha.

i haven't had any issues with the parts yet. a little paint chipped in the grey pockets but thats it really. i broke a foglight but obviously not there fault. the valence and the bumper didn't fit together right, i had to trim the little swap in things to make it fit. the plastic bumper pads are ford OEM because no one makes them and they don't fit quit right into the bumper. honestly i will be happy to get rid of it but it looks ok.

I dunno man... Fix the rake for sure, get rid of the light on the cab... I can't believe you drilled a hole in the cab to mount that. Never heard of the tires, but on a budget they are aight and will do the trick. As far as the axle shaft goes, would an explorer 31 spline shaft work?

Thanks for the compliments guys!! Yeah the Mastercrafts are Coopers off brand. Like Kelly is to Goodyear.
The cab light was a..um..lapse of good judgment. I really wish I wouldn't have drilled into the truck to mount it lol.
As far as replacement shafts go the explorer 31-spline shafts are the same shaft but they are .75 inch longer, so they don't work. I know right. BS. Anyway I am on the hunt for a busted Level II axle to tear into and get a shaft. The one for sale in NJ in the Classified's right now fits my description nicely as the guts need rebuilt but the shafts are good to go, plus he only wants $100, but he can't hold it for me until I can get it in the Summer. Anybody in New Jersey want to hold an axle for me haha. You can have the whole thing I just want the passenger axle shaft lol.

Why not just call Moser and see if they can make you an axle shaft. They custom build them all the time and I'm sure making a 31 spline 8.8 shaft will be no problem for them. Either that or they can respline other shafts so I'd look into getting an explorer shaft having them cut it down and resplining it. There might be enough extra spline that you could get an explorer shaft and cut the .75" off of it and still have it fit your truck. I'd try all of that stuff before I ruin my brand new tires.
