Sponge's 02 Ranger

Hey all. So here is the lowdown. I bought a 2002 Ranger 4.0 XLT (117k mi) last month for stupid cheap off my buddy. Gave it the old refresh, flushed all fluids, sparks, filters, what not. The paint wasn't cared for whatsoever so I hit it with the clay bar, rubbing compund, polishing compound, and wax.

From there I installed the 3'' PA BL which was quite an adventure with little help from my lame friends. Took me about 3 nights, taking my time and frequently quadruple checking everything. Next a Pro Comp Short AAL went in and I cranked the T bars. Added Ion Alloy 171 15x8's wrapped in BFG AT 33'' 12.50's.

Got my ebay black headlights in with a DDM 6k HID kit and she is next to done! I dont have too many immediate plans for her besides a complete audio overhaul in the coming months. I love the truck and have a lot of work into it, let me know what you all think!

lol first of all (I'm going to get flamed for this) I'm a Chevy guy; 88 Blazer, 02 Blazer Xtreme, and I had a 57 Chevy for a couple years.

This is my first Ford, but so far I'm diggin it. I'm also not diggin the decals. I have a heat gun the garage. I'd like to get them off along with the pinstripes. I guess that will be my project for next week in between my ruck marches :P

hahaha... no worries. We even have a couple import build threads floating around. No worries man.... we're not a huuuuge group of fanboy diehards here! lol.

406/400 in my '71. **Technically, currently is 350/400, but she hasn't touched the street since '06. lol. Eventually I want a GenII carb'd 6.0 and a NV4500 or T56. Truck stock was a 350/SM465(granny 4spd).

Tell me about it. I refuse to pay for PA gap guards...and the fools at Home Depot looked at me like I have a third eyeball when I told them what I needed.

I'm going to try again after I get back from camping this weekend. I walked the whole Home Depopot near me and the dudes inside were of little help.
