Pic Request: FX-4 33s

First post on the site. I have a 2007 black fx-4. I just cranked the t bars to make it sit level and plan to put on 33s. I'm stuck on either keeping the dsg alcoas or rather put some different wheels on the truck. So I'm asking for some pictures of some fx4s of the same body style to get some ideas. Appreciate it. Also if someone has 33s on the alcoas id like to see that too.

This is what you want. My ideal ranger. Keep the alcoas.

what r the offset of those wheels? right now my truck only has a t bar crank. although i have been kicking around the idea of like a 3 inch body lift. biggest downside for me with the alcoas is the width and it just doesn't have the stance im looking for. if ya know what im saying. whats done to the suspension of the truck with the alcoas

they are 15x10 wheels and the backspace is 3 5/8 inch backspacing. A bodylift would be a good idea. Without one, you will probably rub. Even with 15x8 wheels. Here is a picture of mine with 33s when it only had a bodylift and maxed t bars.

yeah those alcoas will always be a bit narrow for some lift and 33's. some like it some dont. I say keep them and get a nice set of 1-1/4" spacers or so and it will fill out the width of the fenders and bedsides much better. also dont worry or listen to any bad words about spacers. the way they are made today(the nicer ones) are bullet proof if you stay under 2". I've had some and never had any signs of abuse after putting them through plenty

i believe these pictures were when I had some 1-1/4" or (1/2 cant remember)spacers with stock wheels and 265 bfgs, also a 3" BL. so 33's would be a bit beefier and look better

I actually have 1 1/4 spacers on the back right now and nothing yet on the front actually sits pretty even.

word, then I say keep the alcoas and fit some nice 33's on them. but dont go skinny on the 33 for the stock rim. try and fit as wide of tire you can on those rims

Yea, biggest tire to fit right is 33x10.50x15s I was looking at either bfg all terrains or the km2s. Its not a very popular size. I've ran the tas on many trucks and they do great. I have firestone destination mts on it now. They have been pretty good. I don't have any experiance with the km2s. Does anyone have these? What kinda mileage r people getting. My firestones im expecting to get a little over 40k outta them

I agree, even if you have to air them down a little bit.

heres my 2007 fx4 level 2 with 33x12.5's with only a slight t-bar crank. I was going to stick with the alcoas but they are a 7 inch rim and i dont think they would hold the 12.5" tire. plus the alcoas really stick under the truck, i think i looks better with a little bit of an offset.

Same im not technically a true FX4, but hey manual, 4.10's, 4.0, LS, body lifted, slight torsion crank and 33x12.5 duratracs on 15x8 MT classic 2's. I am getting the smooth top portion of the front bumper ordered in and painting it to match so makes it even closer, and it'll look better, and new square fogs to come.
