Raised the front of the 98 1"

Since I did the drop I have had some issues with rubbing and having almost no upward travel, So I ordered me some 1" drop springs off fleabay and put in slightly larger bump stops. Now the front rides good and no more rubbing! I like the way it sits now, but the springs still need to be broke in so it should come down a little bit more once they do that.

Have a 01-03 front bumper in the garage plus some other goodies for the truck. It has a textured lower bumper so later I will need a paintable one.

Would it bolt up to mine? Also that bumper isn't as tall as mine right? There would be more clearance right?

Not sure on the height. I haven't tried to raise it. It would bolt up with the mounting brackets that are on my truck. Just like I will need the 01 style brackets to mount a newer bumper. Which I have so if I sell this bumper the brackets would come with it.

Where did you get your 01 bumper and how much did you pay for it. Most of the places around me either don't want to sell me the bumper since the front of the truck is good. And a new one at wholesale price is $500.

Got mine off ebay with fogs and all the brackets I need shipped to me for around 350.

Wow. Thank you. I will have to look on there. They wanted $350 for a brand new99 bumper with fogs. Was it a private seller of some kind of business seller?
