Haha, your truck looks just like mine inside, the Hurst shifter, Ford floor mats and the same seats. Shifter looks great.

Looks good man but you need to crank your t-bars up to even out the front end and then you need some nice wheels and 33's...and you'll be banging

LOOOOOOVE my hurst!! CLICK CLICK ZOOM!

Kiefer, did you cut up that floor rubber piece thing like the instructions told you to? If so, you didn't need to because your bodylifted. Bodylifted + uncut rubber floor thingy = awesome quietdowner + less heat into the cab-er.

But....I'm sure it's a nice long reach now isn't it? Time to build or commission me to build you a shifter extention!

One of the best things I have done to my truck. Keep an eye on teh seal where it mates to the tranny. Mine leaked like hell, there is a fix on RPS for it.

BUT....now my tailhousing to transhousing is leaking a little bit. DAMNIT. lol. I gotta find a Silocone that ATF doesn't eat!

I just put a manual tranny back in my Ranger and i'm glad to have it back. I think my extension is 5" tall. 3" to cover the body lift and another 2" cause its too short from the getgo.

I used gray rtv at all the connections for the shifter arm. I think that helped absorb some of the rattle.

I knew it would work lol.

I have this stuff from work called Yamabond 4. Its similar to Loctite 518, as in it stays flexable, and does not harden. Worked for me so far.

Thanks,

hey all thanks for the awesome comments. Its always sweet to hear other people say your rig looks good.
I do need some bigger tires for sure, money is tight right now, but they will come eventually.
Also, i might have to take Fx4Wannabe up on that offer, it does need an extension.
The hurst is so sweet though. I like it more and more every day!

At first i installed the oil seal wrong and it was dripping transmission fluid all over the place!($#!*). But i got i fixed and now its sound. i think i need to make an adjustment to 3rd gear tho, it vibrates sometimes, not fully in gear i dont think.

Hursts are known to rattle in different gears sometimes...even though everything is nice and tight. Mine rattles some in 4th. My brothers rattles some in 3rd.

I'll shoot you a PM on the extention..
