I've had it done for a couple of days now and I have to say I should have done this sooner. Theres so much more storage space with it, which is a huge thing with me. A cool mod to do if you find a deal on one of these consoles. Still haven't found a place for the CB to go though.

and here's the console in my truck, I'm glad I painted it black, IMO it goes with the seats a lot better. Recovering the console turned out great as well. 60/40 mod wasn't bad at all either.

I've been tryin to find someone around here to swap a newer door panel like that to see if it'll line up on my truck! I so want those

 

I would love to have some of those, I want the map pockets. I haven't seen any for sale up here though and I havent been to a JY yet.

Haha yep it sure is, no place in town stocks a 29"x2" MTB tube.

 

Just some advise these are not a direct swap from what he has now. I found out after paying $100.00

It is do able but if you are stingy about a tight fit this mod isnt for you.

The two screws that hold down the middle you cant use becasue of the bracket that exist now. You have to take out that bracket. I still have not figured a way to screw it down tight.

Only screws holding it down some what tight are the bottom corner one and the window crank one

The only ones in my panels now are the bottom corner and the window crank one lol, I messed up the hole that the one near the handle goes in and the screw doesnt' fit anymore. No problems here.

 

You will have to zip tie that plastic piece to the panel becasue if you dont they will pull off everytime becasue the 2 screws are what hold it on

 

Looks good, I want one but the only thing I don't like about them is the AC stuff in the back.

 

I took mine out, I'll figure up something to go in its place. I might just mount my cb back there.

Yeah me too, I had never seen that one before yours. I'll keep a eye out at the JYs from now on for it. The felt ones are just really hard to clean.
