pre-key and AAL done. pics inside
i went over to MI and rob and myself did the work. rob did the back and the front was team effort. he also pinched his finger while trying to get that little wedge thing back into position under the key.
before:
after:
the measurement to the bottom edge of the front fender is 34". i forgot to measure before but i think it's in the 20 page thread about pre-keys. we also cranked them 2 turns on the passenger side and a turn on the driver side. i can tell i need an alignment.
total time for this was 4ish hours. started at 1230ish and was done by 5ish.
i also did the buggman lighting in the dome light and the third brake light. however, the third brake light didn't seat properly so i put some silicone at the top and cleaned it up. however, no pics of those.
EDIT: from other thread...
so i gained an inch but it feel like more for some reason. i also measured with a full tank of gas this time.

i'd say i got at least an inch. when we did it we measured the bolt length from the dowel (what the adjuster screw goes into) to the lip on the bolt head ( kinda like counting threads w/ more accuracy). driver was like .260 and passenger was .960. we put them to that length and i saw a difference as soon as the front was done. then rob persuaded me to crank them so driver side got 1ish crank and passenger got 2ish. i'm debating how much more i could go w/o going too far. driver side was close to being all the way in, passenger side still had length.
as for 32's. i don't wanna have to re-gear so i'm just gonna go with the 31's.

To be honest, I forget what year ranger they were out of. A member in the PNW sold them to me. Those 02's will work though. Swapping them out was really easy. Both me and rob had an idea on how to do it but neither of us had actually done a pre-key swap before. Front and back took like 4-5 hours. Including breaks for a slurpee.
Mike, 33's on 4.10's is like 31's on 3.73's. IMO, 32's looks stuffed. Which is why I went 265's.
