Little bit of progress on the 95

Didn't get a whole lot done today. I didn't get much sleep last night so by the time I did this I was beat lol.

Here is what the tail gate looked like before. It was a blue/green and looked even worse in person then the pics. So I got some black spray paint and now it's black. Looks better and not as out of place. This will work till I have the extra cash to get some of the actual color of the truck in a spray can. Tomorrow i'm gonna pull it off and hit it with another coat or two and dry and get rid of the dry spray look.

Also put my wheels with tires next to the truck to get an idea. Hopefully i will have two more tires next week so I can throw them on.

That is all for now. Tomorrow i'll be putting on some different tail lights I got for free. I gotta drimel part of it for one of the light bulbs to fit.

Looks good, did you ever think about doing the same tail gate as your 04?

Yeah, but it would be black. Silver doesn't really work with my paint scheme on this truck. If I get a can of matching paint. I'm just gonna do the top and the bottom portion to match.

Not gonna mess with these tails. they have broken pieces and deep scratches. Would look like crap. I got some tails from lazler for free that I have to mod just a little for them to fit. they will get me by till I have time to make it a 2 bulb setup.

if you want to make that tailgate look better, give it a good wet sanding, respray and wet sand again.... you will be surprised at how much better a good wet sanding will make your paint look and how much more dimension the luster of the paint gives of... looks good, i see im not the only one who cannot find a matching rattle can color for their truck...

Was going to take it off today, but I got rained out. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to, but there is a possibility of rain.

Just clean it real good. I've got to redo mine. I thought I had cleaned it real good, but there ended up being some kind of residue on it and it bubbled up in some spots.

Roll pan will happen when its time for the body work/paint to be done. I am considered swapping beds on the trucks though. I wana paint the 95 sonic blue. So i'm holding off on doing a roll pan.

I've found it in a can online, but its a bit pricey.

I didn't paint the tail gate or 4x4 valance on the driveway. I did it off to the side. This one is getting a 3/4 and in a year or two a 2.3T or 5.0
