got SFA?

now i do

i plan on giving Andrew (redranger4.0) a run for his money on the longest SAS

its from an 85 so it slready has the gussets on the housing but its missing the 3rd and axle shafts & birfields but for the price im not gonna complain

thats generally a good price..

I almost paid a few hundred for a bare D60 housing so i could build it my way.. indestructible

isn't there a kit to convert those old toyotas to SFA.

IFS Eliminator Kit, SAS Solid Axle Swap Rock Crawling lift Kit

Tons of kits out there for an SAS. It is more common than our head light mods lol

marlin crawler is a little pricey but its quality stuff

all pro makes one... there are several more i just cant think of them right now

If there was a kit like that for the Ranger, I think I would have to blow another 1500 on the truck and then get a transfer case.

hell ya toyota is the way to go
but i actually pretty positive thats not from an 85
looks to be an 79-83 different gusset under the long side
i got an 84 toy thats built

yeah i think you are right about the year... the guy i got it from used it for parts and since i was planning on building something somewhat bulletproof i didnt mind having to get axle shafts, birfields, gears ect

bobby longs 30 spline birfs
or the trail-gear dirtythirtys
hi-pinion third with cryoed gears should be able to run up to 42s with out too much of a problem
most of the guys i run with all run 40s and 42s im still the little guy of the bunch with my 37s

yup sure are but the new dirty thirtys form trail gear are supposed to be just as strong
