Mazda whoring

Snapped a few pics of the Mazda today after getting some work done in the past week or so.

First obviously is the black bed. It's absolutely mint. It's only got one spot of rust on the seam near the bumper hole. The bed floor and wheel wells are just immaculate. I dumped that ugly Grant steering wheel in favour of a stock B2200/RX7 steering wheel, and today added some driving lights in the lower valance. I also painted the rims yesterday and lowered the front end slightly today. I also have a 10" 400w Clarion sub and a 200w Clarion amp to hook up as well. Also ditched my hood for the black one which is in better shape than my original as well.

Anyways, on with the pics.

yeah soon, like before the end of the summer for sure. just need to catch up on some bills first.still havent decided on paint either. Atleast it doesn't look horribly mismatched right now. Black and red go good. It's not like I've got a red cab and a teal bed and a blue hood or something.

I like the one motorcycle mirror and one stock mirror lol.

I still think you should just bag and SFBD it, instead of just static.

haha, te truck had no mirrors when I bought it. I got the passenger side mirror off one of our parts trucks and my buddy gave me the Harley mirror. I've yet to find a stock driver's side mirror for it in any of the wreckers.

I don't want to bag it either. Too much money for what the truck is worth. I'd be spending around $5000 by the time it's all said and done.

That chrome rear bumper is pimp and impossible to find. Replacement ones are over $300 new. The chrome ones only came on 4x4s and 2600i's.

Yes, it looks ghetto, and that's the whole point right now. It's not a show truck. It's a hooptie. It runs like ***, looks like crap and is low as hell. I'm not putting any effort into the current paint because it's just going to get painted within the next few weeks anyways, so whatever time and money I spend now to make it look better is just a waste.

I need a Weber carb and a Pacesetter header to eliminate my engine problems as I am almost positive my pre cat is clogged, and the stock carbs are sh*t anyways.

I'm thinking along the lines of a charcoal and red, or black and charcoal or something neat..and I'm going to redo those rims in bronze rather than gunmetal.

And I think the rear bumper may be coming back off. We'll see. I'd like to get a roll pan or a full skin combo.

oh yeah, those driving lights I got today for $10....they're brighter than my headlights and throw out a wider, brighter beam. They're so good I actually don't even need my low beams. Best $10 I've spent in a while.

yeah, I want a roll pan,but they're like over $200 plus shipping from Grant Kustoms cuz they're the only guys that make a good roll pan.

Right now I have mechanical issues to focus on. I need a Weber carb, Pacesetter header and electric fans.

not sure on mazdas but in hs a buddy of mine had an 86 yota with the 22re lowered no engine mods and it pulled 27 - 30 hwy ... those old 4cyl trucks generally did great.
