you mention that 250ft/lbs torque for CVs is bad as a DD. what about terminator's, dubs, subi's and all other vehicles that are the likes?

 

250ft/lbs is a lot for 1 cv, for a truck that isn't designed that way, subi's are designed for all time allwheel drive, and that is taken into consideration when they engineered everything, and 99% chance, they aren't locked front and rear...

as for terminators and dubs, i'm not sure exactly to which you are referring, but this thread is way off topic...

 

there are dubs out there that are putting the numbers you said out. as for termi's they have an independant rear which means CVs.
