Question 1 - I worked over the summer to pay for the payments during the school year so I wouldn't have to work. Plus I made money on the sale of my 2wd that I didn't have to put too much away. I'll be doing the same thing this summer. I've only got 10k in mine.

Question 2 - Now Shane has the ScanGauge and both of us (auto and manual trans) have gotten instantaneously 21-24mpg on the highway at 60-65mph at a little over 2k RPM. That's pretty damn good if you ask me and that's with the ScanGauge compensating for a 34.8in tire compared to the stock tire of 30.5. Around town I get instantaneously anywhere from 14-17 which still isn't bad turning a 35" tire and a 4.0L motor! lol

1 question:: To both of you, do yall just slave away to pay for things on your truck?? Tre--to you, how long did it take to save and pay for your RCD??

2 question:: I guess its apparent gas mileage is outa the question after 32-33 right??? So i guess no one really cares as of yet...just make more money to pay for the gas right?? <<<<<<<not bashing at all..
1) I work ALOT. I don't 'slave' away at all...but I work alot and make good money, and I like to mod my truck. Make it the way I want it. If I really wanted, I could dump the green on an RCD if I really wanted to. But why do that when I bought a used Superlift for $450? lol. Plus, since I bought the truck 4years ago for 10k, it's paid off and I have no bills other than rent, cell phone, and insurance. But then again...i really don't have that much into the truck in aftermarket/mods as it is.

2) Basically what trevor said...I have a scangaugeII and am seeing good mileage....on the highway. I have a currently malfunctioning clutch system. So around town, mileage sucks...as does a stock truck as well....heck even a properly operating ranger will get crappy mileage in town(stop and go). I would never actually stop driving the truck. I have a 'econobox' if gas should ever get to $6 or 7 a gallon. The Ranger is just too comfortable to drive to just park it.

Yup....3" body...the only avaliable bodylift for my particular truck is a 3". But yours is available with a 2".

I originally had 32's and stock. Went wheelin', messed up my fenders...time to lift it a little more. Went with a 1" bodylift. Then I started hanging around with Trevor and Austin...started to feel really really small.....so.....on went the 3". After all my ' hatin ' on bodylifts, i still can't believe i threw on a 3". lol.
