Some quick pics before winter

My new truck will be finished this week which means the ranger is getting put away for the winter. i spent a couple hours saturday and cleaned her up since she was a mess from hunting season. it was too cold to get my tonno back on though, it will have to wait for warmer weather i geuss. BTW, the white PSD F-350 behind it is my dads truck, i snapped these pics while i was at my dads shop today.

if you lived in the rust belt youd understand why someone would want to store a truck in the winter. ive had the truck for a while and i plan on keeping it alot longer so storing it in the winters has helped prolong its life. its only seen 3 winters in the 7 years ive owned it. but if i happen to drive it off a cliff tomarow and i happen to survive, ill send the wheels your way lol

there is something you can do about the rust and that is to store it during the winter months. im fortunate enough to have had another vehicle to drive in the winter so i was able to store my pride and joy untill summer. a couple of those winters it was stored was because i was away either deployed or in training with the Army. my ranger started out the same way my F-150 did and it was my first big project and was a great father/ son sort of thing. theres alot of time, money, work and memories wrapped up in this truck so i try to preserve it as much as possible. i plan on giving it to my future children some day the same way my father did with me and my first truck. thats another reason it will be sad if i drive it off a cliff. lol
