Some new goodies.

Haven't posted in a while so I decided to take some pictures of things I've recently done. I've recently put in a 2001 Ford Explorer rear with 3.73 & LS. Put a "fancy" new diff cover on it also. Also restored the headlights to like new condition although thats not really picture worthy, IMO.

Also put on some new 16" rims from an expo. (Put on 06 spindles.) Plus new tires. Took off the mudders since I just don't go mudding much anymore.

Been a while since I have updated with pictures of things I have done to the truck so I figured I'd post some new ones.

I installed new headlight housings and clear front corner lights, and fog lights. Had to do a custom harness since it didn't come with the factory harness.

Got some new tires that have to be installed on the truck. The ones I had just aren't very good in snow, etc.

Picked up a center console this style for when I do heated bucket seats. Will post finished product.

I installed led headlights just don't like halogens, some people would say projectors or get out. However these housings do very well with cut-offs and don't blind people. Very nice IMO.

I installed a android headunit, it's the ownice c500. It's very nice and has a big following with good support. Worth every penny. Also put in lighted expo visors with dual visors. Will make the lady friend happier.

Had to replace the fuel pump it died on me. So while I was at it I pained the rear frame with rust bullet. I also painted it black. I am going to undercoat it later on when it gets warmer.

I also installed a led 3rd brake light as the original was just old and tired. Along with euro rear tail lights. Would upgrade bulbs like I did these do not have reflectors behind each light making them dimmer.

Very Nice. How are you gonna do the heated bucket seats are you gonna grab some from an explorer or are you going to mod yours?

Well the idea is to get cloth heated seats with lumbar support adjustment. I have to swap over the tracks from my seats to the expo seats then I found a nice half center console with cup holders out of a 94 Mazda b3000 which came with buckets. Didn't like them though. I tried to get expo limited seats but they won't fit in a standard cab. I got aftermarket seat heaters with the switch and the fuse. I'm going to have to take the cloth off the seats and install them on the cushions and wire them to a circuit that's only hot in run as I don't want power to the be to be hot at all times. Don't want to run the risk of fires. It's going to the back burner. I have other mods I want to get done first. I have an 01 expo guage cluster (white guages and orange needles) they are plug and play 98-Up. I have 06 mirrors I'm going to install. I'm cranking the t-bars, I have expo rear leafs and the front needs to be lifted to maintain the stock lean, it's to high in the rear now. Rancho makes extended shocks which are perfect for this. I need to get my front driveshaft rebalanced, I got a new 95 expo front shaft cuz I have a 94 1354M and they are expensive to replace. I want to install a herculiner, I got an sct tuner that I have yet to use. I'm installing 03 Expo Rims some may not like them but I want to install them cuz I have yet to see a ranger with them installed. https://ssli.ebayimg.com/images/g/bg...s9V/s-l640.jpg I still have to redo my parking brake from the expo rear install. It's not really the first thing I need to get done lol. I have more I "need" to do also.

Put updated mirrors on it. New guage cluster from an 01 explorer, got the rims and tires installed, Hurst shifter is setup with the boot, and rebuilt the rear driveshaft. More goodies to come.
