So the 253K mile 99 ranger has met it's replacement :(
Well as most of you know I have had a VERY reliable little 99 ranger 3.0L 5 speed with almost 253K miles now. I have loved this truck and never had a single issue with it but now it has come time to pass it along to it's new owner :( I believe that my buddy is going to buy it and I know he will take care of it. I had so many plans for the 99 including repainting it silver, lifting it, and then I worried about not having enough power with the 3.0 and also I have always wanted 4 doors so after looking at two different trucks in 2 days, one in Omaha Nebraska and the other in Tulsa Oklahoma and 900 miles later I have this 2001 4 door, 5 speed 4.0 4x4. I have already swapped my wheels and tires from the 99 onto it as well as the HID's and radio. It is SUPER clean inside and out. The only issue with it is that the power steering reservoir seems to be leaking at a decent rate. I need to get it fixed soon. Does anyone know if I can just get the reservoir that sits on the side of the power steering pump? Anyone else had this issue with their SOHC? Also the previous owner cranked the T-bars ALL the way up so it rides like CRAP!!!! I am thinking if I superlift it that all that stuff has to be removed anyway so upon putting it back together I imagine it can be set back to factory specs to be smoother? Does anyone know if this is a correct assumption? Other than that I love this truck! What do you guys think?

Thanks for the compliments everyone!!!
Zach, I looked on that site but I am not sure what I need. I dunno what it's called. The hose that goes out from the bottom of the reservoir but that site says there is a return tube, return hose, reservoir hose, etc etc so I dunno which one it is! Lol. Do you think I should get the tank too and replace both at the same time?
Morris, yes they were both broken out untill today. I replaced them both this afternoon lol.
Tyler, can that be done safely? I thought it was unsafe to back them out once they have been turned in? Anyone know if I can un-crank the T-bars without the bolts eventually backing out or anything bad happening? Cause the ride in this truck is KILLING me lol.

I am pretty sure you would want the return hose. But I dont remember for sure. Best bet would be to get in there with a 10mm wrench and pull that reservoir out! that will give you good insight on what to replace.
Tasca is awesome. Id order from them. Actually I have. lol
You can de crank those bars if you would like. You more than likely will not need loctite as they will be hard enough to turn as is. Adjust the bolts with the front end off of the ground. Makes it a bit easier.
