Trucks last Voyage

Well most of you know my truck was victim of a hit n run a few weeks ago, well hey never found the guy, insurance wouldnt give me a penny for my truck, since it was a hit , and run,
The body damage doesnt look bad, But it destroyed the front end steering components, bent the rear axle, and in the end ruined the motor
So heres some pics of its last voyage...going down to indy Pic a part
yes I took the wheels n tires off when we got there and got it off the trailer lol! no way pic a part was getting those

it pulled up on the trailer under its own power, but the motor was missin out and knockin pretty bad, had to keep my foot in it to keep it running, its a shame to see such a beautiful truck go, but eh what can you do!

wow. im sorry to hear that.
there has to be something you can do about it though....just because it was a hit and run doesnt mean you should get nothing for it though..i mean, we have insurance for these kind of reasons right?

oh well, goodluck, and im sorry you had to loose your truck like this.

Man who do you use for insurance? They should be cutting you a check for at least blue book. I'd have them point you to the paragraph in your policy that stipulates that if your truck is the victum of a hit and run, they don't owe you a red hot cent - doesn't sound right to me.

Yup.

It's great for cheap payments, it sucks if anything happens. I used to just run with PLPD on my vehicles when I was just a poor student too.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your truck though.

funny thing, when i had my bronk, dynasty and golf, i just had liabilty on them. the bronk was $200, same for the dynasty. the golf was $76 for liability. ranger cost me $170 with everything when new and now $200 (speeding while not in ranger). next year if i can keep my foot outta it, it goes down to $150.

That sucks man, carrying only minimum coverage can be a b!tch.

I hate insurance. I pay 190something per month for both of our cars now, but that is full coverage with more than double minimum coverage for most stuff. It has gone down over the years, but considering 10 years each of full coverage, no claims, no tickets, renters insurance etc, it starts to hurt. Plus our rates went up 4% this year for no reason.
But life insurance? haha. No I don't believe I can get insurance unless I dish out my whole salary. lol I get a small policy through work since they have a good sized employee base.
