Did some body work on door And installed Brushgaurd (Lots of Pictures)
During the summer my passenger side made friends with a giant rock that was in the middle of a trail I was wheeling on. Last month me and my dad did some body work on the door and cab and it turned out alright, but I wasn't real happy with the color, it was suppose to be a factory match paint that duplicolor sold but it didn't quite match up.
Last week while at the junkyard I found a door that was the same color of my truck and I purchased it, I wasn't able to get the fender as it was off of a 97, so the fender will wait for now.
Lots of pictures as everyone likes pictures.
Pictures of the damage, looks worse in person.
Body work pictures. I went ahead and fixed a few dents in the tailgate while I was at it.
Pictures of the paint
Pictures of new door installment.
Fender installed and everything buttoned up
Pictures of the brushgaurd. I've had it installed since August just haven't posted any pictures of my truck in a long time.

It wasn't really the paint itself. but the fact that the whole bottom half of the door was bondo and there was places in the sheet metal that stuck up half a inch past the body and we couldn't get the metal down any further or the whole dent would push back in to its original shape which was 3 inches deep. And the new door is actually in really good condition, I just need to take goof off to the sticker residue which I have a whole can of from when I removed the decals off the side of my truck.

It's the same. The back half of the cab is that shitty duplicolor that's suppose to be color matched and is so far from being color matched. Oh well I'm gonna have the whole truck painted by next fall. The lid of the can and when the paint was wet, was the exact same color as my truck, but after 3 days of fully drying it went from being the same color as my truck to pure bright *** green.
