Good lord, I wish it was mine! I just get to work on the things unfortuneately, cant have a $70k M3 yet. Well the SMG is actually an amazing transmission, shifts remarkably fast...but just out of personal preference, I prefer a manual! So the smg "sucks", but it doesn't. lol

it's not SMG, it's a DKG, aka Dual-clutch.
The DKG system is SOO much better than their SMG (which does truly, truly SUCK). Having driven both the manual and DKG M-cars, I have to say that DKG is the way to go. It's fast-shifting (way faster than any manual shifting) and it'll make the car chirp in 2nd AND 3rd

You said you were moving, will you still be working for BMW?
Just for ****s and giggles, one of my favorite M5 videos: http://vimeo.com/1204249

I'm here in Florida at the BMW S.T.E.P facility, 27 week program paid for by my dealer. So I will be moving back to Las Vegas, NV to work at my dealer.

Man I love those cars, esp with the colored interiors. The dual clutch manual/auto is really quick. Audi/VW has had the DSG for a while now, if I drove one of those before I bought my car I would have waited, tiptronic is a slug compared to DSG. It is truely an automated manual, it takes off like a manual and everything, but shifts quicker.
