The mounts bolt to the factory locations for alignment AND then have support braces that go along the frame or at least the pics I saw did and that is one of the reasons I purchased one also. (Mine is not here yet so no pics from me either !)

Yah your right, bolting to the frame isn't strong at all. He's having them redo it because of your advice. From now on the bumper will bolt up to the headlights be ziptied to the radiator lines for extra strength.

That's strange, my bumper is made out of metal, not plastic. It does have a plastic valence which mounts to the metal part of the bumper though.

Also, pics please!

it mounts to the stock location and also has a plate that goes from the bumper to along side the frame. doesnt sound beefy but everything is 1/4 and up plate. this thing isnt going anywhere

Looks good! If you're able to, would you mind posting some close up pics of the bumper? I'd like to see what the texture of that bedliner is... I was thinking of using it on my safari bar!

ok i'll post some up later... Im at work right now.

Randy the texture actually has to do with the distance you spray it... the closer the smoother and shinier. And the further away the more rough and dull it is.. I did 3 coats close up and 1 far to make it thick and rough. I really like how it turned out. Need to buy another can though, ran out and missed a spot around the shackel mounts.
