I traded the Steeda in for...

a 2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. With the new baby coming in Feb. we needed something with a 4x4. This thing is absolutly loaded plus it has a v8 and the gas mileage isn't that bad as I thought. These pics are from the dealer, but I will take better ones when I zaino the suv. I llready took the chrome trim off of the tail-lights and 3rd brake cover. The suv only has 55k milles on it. Don't worry fellow members, I will still be very active on here. Latter on I will be getting an intake and an exhaust system, hopefully a dual exhasut, but its not easy to do. Other mods will be bug shield, vent guards, and tinting in front.

Nice choice! I considered one of those when I bought my Ranger, but I decided I'd rather have the truck. I will get one though, when I need room for a family. Great choice though man!

Great choice Matt. I absolutely love that body style Explorer. My dad had one(w/ v6) and I got to drive it when my truck was in the shop. I really enjoyed it. When you're going about 100mph it only feel like 70 or so. Very smooth ride.

Well, it was $15900 and they gave me 10k for the truck. This explorer was involved in a fender bender according to the carfax, so there is a small hole in the rear bumper. The rear glass was shattered, but replaced some time ago.

Nice ride. Does it have Auto 4wd? If it does watch out for it. That was the a bad idea by Ford. It's like putting your truck into 4wd when the rear tires are spinning. Crunch!

Yeah good luck with that. Most i have seen is about 20-22mpg with these vehicles with everything under the sun done to it. Nice suv but don't expect great gas mileage as it will not happen. My wife had a 2001 explorer with a v6 and it was a great vehicle t'll she rolled it missing a deer on wet roads.
