been a while, a few updates.
I havent really been on the site in a while, so why not post up a few pics and become more active!
so, ive been kinda busy. Im pretty sure this was the last update i had and the truck looks like this. To be honest, I should have never changed it from this state. I just wasted money and was never as happy with the truck as I was when it looked like that..untill now, but that comes later lol.
I ended up selling the projectors and wheels/tires because I got a great deal on some 33's
I also was pretty happy with it at this point, but I decided that 33's were a bit much and went back to 32's
That is the only pic I have online with the 32's. I also moved twice that this point and also sold my cbr900rr and got this katana (sold that too lol).
So, that brings me to the next stage. I gave up on the polished wheels. I spend 7 hrs or so polishing them up one weekend, and within 2 wheels they looked like crap again. So I threw in the flag and bought new tires and wheels again. 33x10.50's on 15x8 procomp wheels.
From day one, I hated it. lol. So anyways, some of you might know but my Dad had a 2008 GMC 2500HD duramax (loved it btw). He didnt drive it or really have a use for that truck and because diesel is a pita to find in my area, it sat. I actually drove the truck more than he did. I think in the year and a half he owned it, we put 20k on it, and I put on 15k on it myself. So, I sold it for him and started a search for a nice, clean stock ranger for him and found this in ohio. I flew out there and drove it back for him. 2007 level II with 20k miles. super clean.
I was actually so impressed with the way it rode, the power difference between the 31's vs 33's, and of course the mileage increase. Sooooooooooooo, I found a set of DSG alcoa's at a junk yard in ny. paid for em and had em shipped to me. Founds 31s locally. Overall, im happy with the truck again.

the guy who bought the black wheels and tires flipped them to white letters out.. between that and him being blue, they look soooooo much better on this truck.

Looks good!
polished wheels are indeed a pain to keep clean. I have to polish mine twice in the summer, the 2nd round is coming up soon. I may go with a wheel the style of those procomps depending on their back spacing (needs to be like my current wheels).
what LED bar is that above your bumper btw? ive been debating buying one the past few days lol
