cant do a front end swap on a gen 3, the frame horns and mounting points are nothing close, not to mention the fenders and hood

im planning on tearing the whole front end off and taking the motor out it was leakin oil form some where. I think i am going to replace it with a 302 and make it a build up now i have another ranger for my daily driver so it will end up being a build. it was a la sabra his back fenders were past his back tires.

well by the looks of it everything that would need to be replaced is basically from the frame horns up anyways, this would be the best situation do do the swap!

And sorry about the crash! good to hear everybody is okay!

The way I see it, Its only worth it if you happen to crash it, otherwise is a waste of time and money IMO. Its possible. But for me to do it, I would have to wreck it lol.

Rad core support(drill out spot welds, replace with 98+ core support, weld back on), frame horns is a weld in deal, after that it's fenders, hood, and the normal stuff like header panel, etc.

Yea, Would be a pain to do, but doable, Easier if its crashed and already have to rebuild it anyway.

And just because it's a ***** doesn't mean you can't do it.

Truck looks good wrecked. You should keep it that way

I'm just joking, that sucks. I agree with doing a front end swap.
