Got a CB today. Need to find where to put it and get an antenna/mount.

 

Under seat? open cab jeeps means equipment gets jacked easily

 

Not sure how well it will mount under the seat. I was thinking about behind the dash under the steering wheel. I like how sleek that is but not sure how accessible it will be. I use my center console too much to put it there but the glovebox is a possibility.

 

Installed the CB this morning. I will wire it up sometime this week as I don't have time right now before work.

 

Hopefully nobody decides to take that. Are your doors still off?

 

Yeah doors are still off. My parking lot at work is secure. I'm gonna put them on tomorrow though because it gets cold at night driving home. I can take it out really easy too.

 

I want a new 4dr jk bad lol, but my xj will have to do for now.

 

Ripped open a pillow and stuff the sound bar with it to stop the vibrations. So far so good. And I also put the top and doors back on as it gets cold driving home at 11 or 12 at night. Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon the CB will be wired up and the beginning of the rock light install will begin. I should have a rear Rock Hard 4x4 bumper next week if the shop holds it for me.

 

Ordered rock lights and an A pillar switch pod. I will start a build thread when I install those.

 

Got on board air this morning. I will post a new thread with pictures in a few minutes.
