My buddys dad has one, its been nothing but problems.

 

ive been in the rc world for a long time just a list of what ive built
1 drift star
2 hpi pro d clone
3 traxxas slash
4 hpi sprint 2
5 rs4 pro 2
6 another slash
6 scx10 scaler
7 cr-01 scaler
8 traxxes rc boat
9 losi buggy

its a fun hobby but does get price'y for cheap and good lipo's hobbyking usa all the way

 

Oh really? Problems like?

 

Cooling issues even while running stock batteries. He had a custom water cooler made that seemed to flow well but his second traxxas esc still burnd up.. Probably just a lemon, weve seen other guys out there running 6cell and seem to be fine. but our proboats have always worked flawless in stock form

 

great now i am rediscovering my rc hobby. i just watched every video on the traxxas website. i want a summit vxl lol

 

they're sick but check out a Motley Crew instead. a friend of mine has one and they're badass lol

haha get a slash 4x4 and use it at the track i helped build this past summer. there is also an indoor and outdoor track near my school. Summit VXL is badass. One of my friends has a blue one right now with a mamba monster motor, its sick. I had a 1/16 summit that i made pretty damn fast lol
