Another good way to use the jack (if you don't have a receiver or bumper adapter) is to wrap a strong tie-down (I think they make a special tool for this) through the holes in your wheel and lift if from there.
The padlock will keep the "honest" people out atleast. But just a quick second with bolt cutters.
You should go pick up some wire-loom to hide the wiring for the lights, and protect them from chafing against metal.

Looks good.
When you start to use it, it will scratch the original paint a bit, and after 6 months there is rust along all the sliding parts. Even with a tonneau cover to protect mine, the condensation in the morning makes the highlift a rust bucket. Every month I soak the mechanics of it with white lithium grease to keep it working well.
