Hey guys, I juyst put a HG in my 96 (yes it definitely needed it,..oil was chocolate milk) and unfortunatly its running nearly the same as it did before with the blown gasket!

Ive got everything together correctly as far as i can tell...timming is good and truck runs strong with your foot in it. The only odd end i didn't hook up was the very small black box that attaches to the front coil pack somehow (I can't remember how it attaches so i left it off) and the vac line to the EGR selonoid (i did plug up bot connections so there wouldn't be any vaccum leak.)

Any ideas for me? I'm going to try and get the codes at some point....but knowing what this thing has been though im sure the list of them is going to be extensive..
