2.5L question's

ok I just got a 2000 ranger with the 2.5L auto I'm looking to hook up a RPM gauge in it and wanted to know witch wires I need to tap into on the coil's ? and also how I go about changeing the sparkplugs on the driver side ??? any help would be great .

I have the same engine as you and let me tell you spark plugs.....not easy best thing ive found is to buy and extension swivel head socket for spark plugs. and just work around that manifold. its not easy but youll get it done

Yep its times like this I like having the 4 plug head.

see i have 2.5 5 speed and have wanted to do the same i have tried all three places coils the wire coming out of computer and behind the dash and it doesn't work right so i am lost on that too

For the tachometer, just swap in a instrument cluster from another ranger or explorer that has a tach. It is plug-n-play. They run around $22 here at the junkyard. Look for one like 98-03.
