i have a 93 ranger that has developed a sickness. first issue was about 1 1/2 months ago. it was running good, went to the lake fishing, and it wouldnt start. turns over fine, but no start. it sat there for 2 weeks til i could go pick it up, got in it and cranked right up. i assumed fuel pump was on its way out. put a new one in, drove it for a few days running fine. im back at work, my brother drives it for a few days no problem. stops at the store one morning and it started doing it again. left it for 2 days there, got in it and cranked up and drove home. now its at home waitin to be fixed again. could the fuel pump went out again? or is there something else that would cause it?

just remembered:the key/ignition switch is wore out. i can crank the truck and pull the key out and it stays running. could it possibly be something in the ignition switch?
