Icon9 OMG - I think I've ruined my Ranger - NEWB :(

As the title says. Ranger will not idle now. It will stay running if you keep giving it gas, but not even well enough to drive. It coughs horribly also, TRYING to stall, when your hitting the gas... 5 Speed BTW.

ALL STARTED BY FOLLOWING SOME DIRECTIONS I FOUND TO ADJUST IDLE SPEED

It WAS running GREAT until I decided to do THIS....

Adjusting the Idle Speed - HotRodHigh.ca

HERE'S WHAT I THINK I DID WRONG!!!

Here's the area I was messing around in.... BUT!

I was unplugging the RED plug (which now I don't even know what it IS!!!).... When I THINK I was supposed to be fiddling with the blue circled plug while doing this "Idle Speed Reset"

ANY HELP TO GET MY TRUCK BACK RIGHT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED BEYOND BELIEF!!! LOL... THIS IS MY DD!!!

Not 20 mins.... 5 maybe. I thought it reset after 5 mins anyways....

But if it takes a FULL 20, I'll go do it RIGHT NOW!

Lemme know!

I'm a little rusty on the exact 4cyl layout, but I'll play:

The blue circle looks like the idle air control valve (IAC valve).

The red circle looks like it might be the throttle position sensor (TPS).

EDIT:

Haha... thanks bro. Now it's time to get on with my custom intake, custom Flowmaster 40 and get this electric fan in!

Have any good pointers or know of any threads about using an electric fan instead of the mechanical? I'm just not sure how to get it to kick on and off by ITSELF, without me having to flip a switch!
