I have an '88 ranger with the 2.0L. The carb seems like it is dumping in an excess of fuel in the one port. The other port does not let out any fuel at all, no matter how much throttle is given. The truck will not idle with out keeping your foot on the pedal. The timing is way advanced, right now its is probably 12-16 degrees btdc. The spec is only 6. Has anybody had any problems like this? Could it be as simple as cleaning the carb? Thanks
